The painting centre is based at O’Neill’s town home, situated in the Spa town of Lisdoonvarna, in scenic North Clare. Course participants and non-painters can book their accommodation at O’Neill’s, an approved B&B which has retained the atmosphere and character of the old family home. The refurbished bedrooms are all en suite and the comfortable lounge has T.V., D.V.D and a wide selection of reading material. The private car park is adjacent to the studio at the rear of the house.
The spectacular Atlantic coastline, Galway Bay and the famous Burren rockscapes are close by. Galway City lies just 60 kilometres to the North , Limerick City, Bunratty and Shannon airport to the South. North Clare has many visitor attractions.
The studio provides a welcome retreat for indoor work, demonstrations and critiques.Tea and coffee making facilities are available throughout the day and art materials and equipment are for sale and hired each morning.
Course participants can book their accommodation at O'Neills B&B or may attend as a non-resident on a daily basis. Non painters are also welcome to stay at O'Neills. |
