DENISE ALLEN
Denise lives and paints in Bramfield, Hertfordshire. She developed a love of the sea when living in Bermuda and especially loves painting seascapes. Studies of evening skies is another favourite theme that occurs in her paintings. She is fascinated by the effects of light in both sea and sky and the patterns produced in foam and clouds. She is happy to paint in watercolour or oils and is a competent teacher of both mediums. Classes at both her studio and her painting holidays are extremely popular.

GRAHAME BOOTH
This experienced, successful artist is a past president of the Ulster Watercolour Society and finalist in Channel 4’s popular series “Watercolour Challenge”. He has received many awards. Grahame tries to capture all the elements of his environment, preferring to paint ‘en plein air’. An enthusiastic, inspiring tutor, with many demonstrations on site. Courses suitable for all levels.

GABRIELE CAPACCHIONE
Gabriele received his MA in Fine Arts in Italy. He specialised in sculpturing marble. He uses many of the techniques of the old masters when teaching in oil, acrylic or watercolour. His own work is inspired by the wonderful skies and landscapes of the West of Ireland. He has an infectious enthusiasm and encourages the natural talent of each student. Courses suitable for beginners and improvers.

VALERIE CRAIG
Valerie is a dedicated ‘plein air’ painter, winning several awards at outdoor events on the East coast of the USA.. She is an energetic and helpful tutor, encouraging her students to be more adventurous and confident. She teaches the fundamentals and especially concentrates on the interpretation of light and atmosphere. She will demonstrate on site. Courses suitable for beginners and improvers.

GAYLE FEDIGAN
Gayle lives in Newburgh, upstate New York and is the founder director of the Hudson Valley Pastel Society. She studied at the State University of New York and has gained many awards for her work. She teaches adults classes in two local colleges, helping her students to explore the possibilities of using pastel. She exhibits regularly in various galleries and with prestigious national associations. She will be based in Vence, concentrating on painting ‘en plein air’ in the hot spots of the French Riviera.

FERGAL FLANAGAN
Fergal is a full time professional artist, working from the Glendarragh studios in Wicklow. He paints in oil, gouache and watercolour using a vibrant palette. A helpful, patient tutor, who loves painting ‘en plein air’, using the direct painting technique. Member of the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club. Exhibits throughout Ireland. Demonstrates to Art Clubs. Courses suitable for improvers and experienced painters.

ANNELISE PIO HANSEN
This Danish watercolourist enjoys teaching her skills. She is a thorough, enthusiast tutor, demonstrating many techniques and motivating her students to achieve great results. She writes for Danish and UK art magazines and runs adult classes in Copenhagen and abroad. She loves painting on location and captures the subtle colours of her native landscape. Courses suitable for beginners and improvers.

OLIVIA HAYES
After graduating from the National College of Art and Design, Olivia continued her studies at Oslo University and in Florence, Italy. She is a popular tutor, with helpful demonstrations. She is a full time artist and exhibits regularly, with many of her works in collections worldwide. She is an active member of the Watercolour Society
and The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club. Courses suitable for all abilities.

VINCENT LAMBE
Vincent trained in both Dublin and New York. He is an active meber of the Dublin art clubs and societes, past President of the Watercolour Society. He exhibits regularly countrywide and at the R.H.A. He is comfortable teaching in oils, acrylic and watercolour. He imparts the skills of painting in a lovely loose style and enjoys the interaction of his students. Courses suitable for improvers and experienced painters.

BRENDA MALLEY
Brenda is a full time professional artist, exhibiting in Ireland, the U.K. and Boston,U.S.A. She is particularly interested in seascapes and uses the palette knife to convey the energy of the sea and shoreline. She conducts classes from her studio and demonstrates to art groups. She offers encouragement and support at all stages of instruction. Courses suitable for all abilities.

DOROTHEE ROBERTS
Dorothee completed her art training at L’Ecole Superiure d’Art in Paris. She exhibits in both Ireland and France and runs classes from her studio in Carrigaline. She aims to simplify the subject matter and pays particular attention to colour, design and the atmosphere of a painting. She is an energetic, patient tutor, who gives instructive demonstrations on site. Courses suitable for beginners and improvers. |
